Eve's 1st Week

I picked Eve up last Monday from her former-and wonderful-foster Mom Cathy Wilder. Cathy is taking on GPA's newest broken leg dog so Eve will be with us. Warren and I have loved every foster we've had but this girl has won our hearts. If we had a spot in our home the papers would have already been signed. First of all, Eve is a tall girl. Taller than our male, Paddy, a beautiful light fawn with an expressive face and mascara eyes. She always seems happy and looking for fun. She will randomly "sing" for no apparent reason which is so cute. She loves stuffies!!! She gets along well with our dogs, including the small Cosmo, and has completely ignored the cats. She eats well, has had no accidents in the house, crates easily, and sleeps through the night on her bed in our bedroom. What more can I say? Although she will "go" on lead she loves the yard (see above) and would probably do well in a home with a yard of her own. She is using her leg pretty well, and we are taking small walks to work up her muscle tone. But she will probably do best in a home without many stairs, or a lot of commotion-especially since she likes to be a part of everything. Eve is wonderful, and someone is going to be very lucky to share life with her!
